- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13524786, 4 days agoVery nice extention. It only lacks the option to save volume setting (the "remember last volume" doesn't seem to work and it's not the same thing) and the mini player when you go to comments.

posted 4 days agoThank you for reviewing, I'll look into fixing the remember last volume feature I wasn't aware it broke. The extension doesn't have a mini player when you go to the comments. Can you describe what "save volume setting" should do?
Edit: I tested remember last volume is working perfectly fine, it remembers what you set the videos volume to and restores it when the next video loads.
I plan on working on a mini player feature that appears when scroll down to the comments eventually. I could potentially add the option to set your preferred volume you want videos to start at as a feature, I think that's what you mean by "save volume setting"
Edit 1: I started working on the mini player feature - Rated 5 out of 5by Cristi Nefiru, 5 days ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by SL, 16 days agoEdit: Thank you! That fixed it for me. I appreciate having a developer that actively works on their project. This add-on works excellently!
The app works very well and I like how streamlined all the options are. A minor concern is that when you change the background colour for the website as a whole, it also changes the colour of the bars around a video when it's in theatre mode. It would be great if these could be separate, as I prefer when videos play on a black background, but the entire site being black is hard on the eyes.Developer response
posted 16 days agoEdit: You're welcome! thank you for updating your review I appreciate it
Thanks for the review, I am really glad you like how clean and streamlined everything feels.
The Deep Dark theme is not something I directly control. It is a separate theme that I have permission to include, so its background behavior comes from that. That said, you can tweak this yourself using the Custom CSS feature.
If you want the sides of the video in theatre mode to stay black while keeping the rest of the site lighter, you can add this:
```
div#movie_player {
background-color: black !important;
}
```
You can swap out `black` for any color you prefer. Thanks again for the feedback, it is definitely helpful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16037773, a month ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Sanquin, a month agoThere's no mini player for when you're scrolling to the comments, and the extra settings I chose to put below the player don't show up most of the time. (like volume boost)

posted a month agoThis extension doesn't have a mini player feature yet, a bug fix will be released for that issue in time sorry for the inconvenience. If you have default to original audio track enabled disable that feature it has a known bug right now. The fix hasn't been released yet because I'm busy in life. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18215500, a month ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by hskoo, a month agoIt's a great extension! But... could you please also remove the sponsor video from the YouTube ad deletion function?
Developer response
posted a month agoThanks for reviewing! I'm kind of confused about what you are talking about. If you are talking about mid video sponsors an excellent extension Sponsor block already exists for this purpose. If you are talking about ads on YouTube I don't want to do that it. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 19618202, 2 months agoThis Extension works well for the most part. I have problems tho with it locking up Firefox while watching a video, it just stops playing and the entire page has crashed. Nothing is clickable and Firefox needs to be restarted. Also the end screen cards are not selectable with 0 settings enabled. The only way to change this is to disable Enhancer. I wish this extension was more like the Chrome version.
Developer response
posted 2 months agoThanks for taking the time to leave a review. I'm not sure yet what's causing the page to crash on your end. One known issue is with the "Default to original audio track" feature. If you have that enabled, try turning it off for now. A fix is ready and will be included in the next release.
I will also look into the issue with end-screen cards not being selectable. Regarding the Chrome version, the extension is the same across browsers, so you may be thinking of a different extension.
Thanks again for the feedback. It helps me improve the experience for everyone.
Edit 2025-12-09: I tested the issue with end screen cards not being clickable and wasn’t able to reproduce it. It’s possible another extension is interfering. If you can create an issue on the GitHub page, that would be greatly appreciated. Including a video that shows the behavior would also be extremely helpful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19606063, 2 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Alinivar, 2 months agoA W for replacing the late original. I recently just looked for it on the Floorp fork of the Firefox browser to install and saw a reddit thread saying it had been discontinued, which I didn't even know it had since I still used the last available version just fine.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Dakart, 2 months agoA great extension. It would be nice to make "remove video" and "mark as unwatched" buttons in watch later playlist a white color. And add the ability to disable each of the buttons .

posted 2 months agoThanks for the review! I’ve forwarded your message to the original contributor for their input. Your idea sounds good, and I want to make sure they’re included as well.
Edit 2025-11-27: In version 1.30.1 the change you requested has been added. - Rated 5 out of 5by E1ectro, 3 months ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16729333, 3 months agoSeems to do all I need but the behaviour is inconsistent. I had it configured how I wanted and the next day all my setting had reverted. Then, trying to add the screenshot and volume boost buttons to the bottom of the player removed the existing fullscreen, minimize and settings buttons, and the new buttons were misaligned. Good but needs work.

posted 3 months agoI'm not sure you reviewed the right extension. This extension doesn't have the settings reset randomly, Also unless you were on an older version the buttons added by the extension shouldn't be misaligned at all. There is another extension with a similar name that I'm aware of that had problems. - Rated 5 out of 5by Ana, 3 months agoFINALLY a way to get rid of those AI summaries!! However I don't know if it's just me, but that only works when I uncheck and then recheck the box while on the video page, otherwise the summary still shows up. In any case, still a great extension, with many features I didn't know I needed until I saw the whole list haha

posted 3 months agoThank you for reviewing! I'll look into the hide AI summary feature not enabling.
Edit 2025-11-06: I've fixed this issue it will be released soon. - Rated 5 out of 5by Dio, 3 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Styphoryte, 3 months agoAwesome plugin, it would be nice if we could get the restore old UI like how the discontinued Youtube Enhancer works in Chrome, I just noticed today when trying it automatically restores the old UI. Also just that and an option to pin the player when scrolling down with adjustable sizes and different positions, just like in the old discontinued one and man this plugin will be NUMBER 1!!! Now I have to just use like 5 different plugins and combine them for the features I need but hoping in the future I can remove a few and only use this one and a few others perhaps instead of 5 plugins and 2 tampermonkey scripts. One script to restore old UI ofc and few others. Thank you so much for your work! Hope youtube doesn't remove their old UI fully too soon or I'm gonna be annoyed lol ah well. I'm sure people will be able to re-create it somehow with css theming or something I hope. I cannot stand this new UI will always figure a way to replace it. One last option I think could be added to your plugin is restoring the smaller icons only in theater mode, instead they use these bigger icon versions. Maybe this ublock filter could help you implement this feature itself. Fix the wwwdot i cant send links in FF review's.

posted 3 months agoThank you for reviewing, You can make feature requests on the GitHub so it's easier for me to work on your suggestions. - Rated 5 out of 5by София, 3 months agoОтлично работает, все свои функции выполняет. Не хватает только 2 вещей: отключения автовоспроизведения и возвращение старого режима театра, новым пользоваться невозможно.
- Rated 5 out of 5by CK, 3 months agoThank you for making this, finally let me remove Youtube shorts. I have lost so much time because of them and their constant existence was an endless reminder and temptation for that sweet instant dopamine followed by a deathscrol until I would recover 30 minutes later.
I can hardly describe the sheer relief I felt when I saw them disappear from my screen in real time.
I don't even know if I am going to be using a single one of the other features but dear god does the shorts being gone feel like freedom.Developer response
posted 3 months agoYou're welcome! Thank you for Reviewing. Even if you only use one feature of the many I'm happy the extension can be of use.
