Would be a really useful extension if it didn't crash repeatedly. It doesn't crash very often, but you can almost guarantee it will be when you really need it.

I also want to warn potential/current users of OneTab sharing your data to Google when you use the "share as web page" feature

Cannot get it to work. Can't open xpi file to even try. Needs to be more user friendly.

5-10-25: SLOW to load.Cannot deal with long tab lists. You must MANUALLY click and past tab list to file because it will disappear on cache clear even if "locked"

Lost several important tabs trying to save them using this extension. WIth the message "has to be reloaded"-should read reloaded after our crap addon deletes them . Not good. ALso said I must update my browser brave which is not that old. Try updating your addon code so it's not so flaky slow and unresponsive.
4-24-25: not being actively developed no improvements. still slow and unresponsive. You have to manually save the taps cuz they will be deleted on browser cache clears.
3-27-25: SLOOWWWtoo slow to respond. no easy way to save nor edit bookmark tabs. system cache clears all your tabs you THOUGHT were "locked" (bull).
1-27-25: works pretty good but lacks essential features:
entries won't survive cache clears even if "locked". No way to organize and easily edit urls. Slow to load sometimes won't requiring reinstall or reload.
10-10-24: still good not perfect but pretty good.
aug, 2024: it's gotten much better. Recommended
Sept 2022: It's gotten better but the thing that remains that is really annoying is that it won't load the saved urls automatically and you have to disable and re-enable it to get the saved urls to load. The problem with the auto opening of the tabs has been resolved in their settings, so that is not an issue now. But I am sick and tired of having to disable and re-enable it to get it to load on command. I dont' want AUTO load but I do want them to load when I issue the command.

June, 2022: It's gotten better, easier to use. On some browsers such as epic, it will not auto activate and you have to disable and reenable to get it to show. Need a better way to save the tabs when it goes haywire. Should have an auto setting to automatically lock the tabs.

Demoted this add on to ONE STAR.
It acts like trojan or malware and opens a second FFOX window without user input and with setting set to open tab only, ignores the setting and opens a new window. Reported as malware.
mostly disabled it. Breaks Loads whether you ask it to or not and then breaks your vpn or music connection in doing so. Seems pretty obvious they are messing with your other browsing connections. It's only good for one thing, that is if you have to open many URLS and don't want to bother pressing the keys to make a book mark. I consider this spyware. Don't know why mozilla recommends it, but they must have low standards.

I have had some 120+ tabs open, many of them having its own history of a few pages visited. After using OneTab, I've lost the history behind each individual tab...

I hate this add-on, because of this oneTab my unsaved code is lost. My two days work!

I thought this would be a great solution for all my tabs. I clicked the icon and watched all my tabs close. Then I got this error: Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

So it seems there are limitations that are not noted in the description. I have emailed the team for tech help, but am assuming my tabs are gone (even with recovery in place with Firefox, I could not seem to get that particular window of tabs restored). Incredibly disappointed in this add-on, and now instead of saving time, I am wasting time trying to figure out recovery. Lesson learned. :(

out of sudden stopped working.

Worked great. In the last month stopped working. Today lost all my tabs I had been curating. I will never use another tab manager that doesn't allow me to sign in to restore tabs in case of problems.

I know it is probably not a fault of OT devs, but as you may have noticed, it breaks over time.

Suddenly broke. I'm not reinstalling to risk losing my tabs again - I'll find something more reliable.

Right now this add-on is unstable or bugged. The icon disappeared from Firefox and I couldn't use it, so I had to reinstall it to work again. Which resulted in losing all my previous tabs!
I hope this issue gets fixed soon.

Used to be great but now every time I open Firefox I have to go an manage my extensions turn it off then turn it on again. I don't know if this is the team's issue or a firefox issue, all I know is it is very irksome and I would like to hope it gets resolved

To those who also want to give 1 star review: addon now requires turning it off and on to start working again for some reason. Unforseen update of Firefox?

I've been using OneTab for the last four months and I loved it. I was now working in three projects with around 50, 20, and 15 tabs each. I was able to just group all of the tabs when I was not working in a specific project. I loved that I was able to name each group. But today, when I updated Firefox to the 80.0.1 version, OneTab did not reload my lists of tabs. It was just a blank page. I copied the URL, I restarted firefox, I also restarted windows... It did not help, OneTab was just not working at all. So I removed and installed the extension again. it works now, but it won't reload my previous lists of tabs. I have lost research work done during several months. I can't believe it.

Right now I am just trying to find an alternative.

Disappeared with all my data!!

Lost all my tabs in the last release. Tried all the fixes, turned off and on, and did a reinstall. Use the export feature to back-up my tabs, but it doesn't save the headers, or the starred order, so, more work. It seemed okay but today the whole add-on has disappeared? Very poor, have given up on this add-on. I'm using Simple Tab Groups instead, at least it works.

I lose everything in a moment. Installed on 3 of my 6 profiles, after restart the onetab tab show nothing and the icon button doesn't respond. I recover 2 of 3 profiles tabs with a lot of work.
