The addon works as expected except for the part in which the permissions asked are somehow obscure. I'm a developer myself and this matter is no joke.

This trash somehow stole the whole audio channel from Firefox. None of the tabs played any sound, took me 30 min to figure out why ONLY Firefox gives no sound. Even RESTARTING the browser didn't fix it. Then moving the silder a bit did for all tabs even though I didn't use the extension for months. This is concerning, it's almost like malware...
